Kris Jordan is a lifelong resident of Delaware County and has an unmatched Republican record of protecting our tax dollars, our freedoms and the sanctity of life.
Jordan was born and raised in Delaware County and graduated from Delaware Hayes High School, where he swam, and ran cross country and track. Kris also was active in our community where he served as the President of the Delaware County Junior Fair Board. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University.
A strong Republican leader, Jordan’s efforts have earned him numerous honors and awards. He has twice received the Watchdog of the Treasury award for his leadership of fiscal issues. As a Delaware County Commissioner, he was named the United Conservatives of Ohio Local Elected Official of the Year and, from the Ohio Christian Alliance, he earned the Freedom Award for defending prayer in the public square. The Republican Liberty Caucus awarded Jordan the Champion of Liberty honor for being the legislator who defends our constitutional rights and fights for limited government.
It's no surprise that he was named Ohio's Most Principled legislator in a survey by Columbus Monthly magazine.
He is a member of the National Rifle Association, Delaware County Right to Life and the Delaware County Farm Bureau.
Jordan lives in Ostrander with his three children, Macy, Davy and Everly.
